Why these tools do not upload anything
Most free converters work by taking a copy of your file, processing it on a server somewhere, and letting you download the result. That means a contract, a payslip or a medical report leaves your control, and you have to trust a retention policy you cannot check. These tools do the same work with the code already running in your browser tab, so there is nothing to upload and nothing to delete afterwards. Turn off your connection after the page has loaded and they still work.
